Experiencing Antarctica from a sea kayak allows you to hear the porpoising of penguins through water, the crash of glaciers up in the mountains, and the crackling of brash ice, and to see the krill swarming around small ‘bergy bits’ (pieces of floating ice). Most of all, a sea kayak it allows you the independence of a small, almost noiseless boat in which to enjoy the solitude of this great wilderness. The length of the sea kayaking excursions vary and your guide will monitor each paddler’s comfort level.
