On arrival in Maun you will take a light aircraft flight to the ultra luxurious, award-wining Jack’s Camp in the heart of the Makgadikadi Pans. Nothing can quite prepare you for Jack’s and its unusual surrounding landscape, it’s magical quality cannot fail to captivate.

With big game being scarce on the Pans, your next two days will focus on more unusual activities, including quad biking, star gazing, visits to sites of archaeological interest, guided walks, night drives  and of course close encounters with the neighbouring groups of habituated meerkats that the camp has become famous for. During any of these activities you still have a great chance of encountering some of the desert-adapted wildlife that can be seen here year round including steenbok, black-backed jackal, ostrich, brown hyena, bat eared fox, honey badger, aardwolf and porcupines.

Spend one final morning at the camp before bidding farewell to your guides as you set off by light aircraft to Maun. On arrival in Manu you will be met and transferred by private helicopter to the beautifully presented and newly rebuilt Sandibe Safari Lodge, which will be home for the next three nights. Sandibe is located in a private concession in the Okavango Delta, adjacent to the Moremi and is fast becoming a ‘must do spot’ for wildlife enthusiasts looking for a little more luxury.

Due to Sandibe’s prime location on the permanent Delta and its proximity to the game-rich grassy plains your option of activities for the next two days are vast, whether it be big game viewing on land by guided walks, day and night drives or on water in relaxing mokoro excursions

You will take a morning game drive to the airstrip where you will board a light aircraft for your short journey to the magnificent Selinda Reserve. Upon arrival you will be met by your private guide who will drive you into camp, even on this short journey you won’t fail to spot plenty of wildlife. Once you have settled in and indulged in a little afternoon tea you will head out on your first proper game drive in search of the big predators that this concession is synonymous with.

With the ultimate in privacy and flexibility activity options at Zarafa include morning and afternoon game drives, night drives with a spotlight, short walks from camp, bird watching, use of a specially adapted photography vehicle and a pontoon boat. However, you might prefer to simply spend time in your private suite which is equipped with its own plunge pool that offers sweeping views of the Zibadianja Lagoon.

After breakfast you will take your last safari drive to Selinda airstrip, ready for your flight to Kasane, on arrival here you will be met and driven to Tongabezi Lodge which will be home for the next couple of days. This is the perfect place from which to explore Victoria Falls as it comes with its own valet, guide, vehicle and boat, giving you full control over what you want to do during your stay.

Depending on your mood you could spend the day at the Falls sampling some of the adventure activities that are offered including bungee jumping, white water rafting, helicopter rides or swimming in Devil’s Pools’.  Or perhaps you would prefer to do a game drive in the Mosi-Oa- Tunya NP, famous for its large rhino population or simply visit a local village or have lunch on a private island. With so many choices at hand this really is the perfect place to end your African adventure.

You will be transferred to Livingstone Airport ready for your connecting flight home.
