Explore

A country ranging from the tropics to the very edge of Antarctica with something for everyone

Argentina is a destination in its own right or often an extra before or after an Antarctic expedition.  Vibrant Buenos Aires and the Iguazu Falls are both a must but then the choice is endless from the vineyards of Mendoza to the Pampas and wildlife rich Valdes Peninsula to Patagonia. A country to experience and explore.

  • Spectacular sights such as Iguazu Falls
  • Scenic Patagonia
  • Exciting Buenos Aires
  • Gateway to Antarctica

Getting There...

There are regular flights from many European and American cities direct to Buenos Aires, with connections to regions throughout the country.

Health

At least 4 to 6 weeks prior to your departure you should consult your local GP or health professional to seek up-to-date advice and guidance on the latest vaccination requirements for Argentina. Depending on your circumstances, vaccinations or other preventive measures may be required.

Adequate and full travel health insurance is a necessity, along with adequate and readily accessible funds to cover the initial costs of any medical treatment or repatriation should they be required. Although overall the medical facilities in Argentina are good, the public hospitals tend to be quite crowded, and private facilities expensive.

Important numbers to have: Should you require an ambulance during your holiday, emergency medical assistance is available by calling either 107 or 911.

If you or someone you are travelling with is referred to a medical facility for treatment then you, or someone accompanying you, should also contact your travel insurance or medical assistance company as soon as possible.

Visa

Visas are not required for tourist visits by nationals of most countries, including EU, Australia, NZ, Canada and USA.

National of Australia, Canada and USA are required to pay a 'reciprocity' fee on arrival in Argentina.

Requirements should be checked at the time of booking since these can change at short notice
